Part of my For the Love of the Arts series, Something to Share was inspired by the Holly Jolly Jukebox winter concert at Virginia Park School. Watching students step onto the stage, I was reminded that every performance is an act of courage. They weren’t just singing songs—they were sharing a piece of themselves with everyone in the room.
As the lights twinkled above the stage and families gathered together, the concert became about more than music. It became a celebration of growth, confidence, and community. Each child had something unique to contribute, and together they created a performance that was joyful, heartfelt, and unforgettable.
