Spirit Island is one of those places that leaves a lasting impression. Reached only by boat across the turquoise waters of Maligne Lake, it offers a quiet beauty that feels both peaceful and timeless. I painted Whispers of the Rockies to capture the stillness of that moment, where the mountains, water, and sky seem to speak in a language all their own.
The title is inspired by the Stoney Nakoda word Îsniyes, meaning “thank you.” It reflects my gratitude for Alberta’s breathtaking landscapes and the privilege of experiencing them. This blank art card is a small invitation to pause, reflect, and carry a little of the Rockies with you wherever your words may travel.
