There are places in Edmonton where it is easy to forget you are in the middle of a city. Mill Creek Ravine is one of those places for me.

Mill Creek Ravine Cathedral was inspired by the feeling of walking beneath the tall trees, with their branches reaching overhead and the light filtering through. There is something about standing there that feels almost cathedral-like—quiet, peaceful, and a little bit magical.

I wanted this piece to capture that feeling of being surrounded by nature and having the rest of the world disappear for a moment.

This 8 × 10 inch fine art print is a little piece of Edmonton’s natural beauty to bring home—a reminder to wander, look up, and notice the beautiful places that are often right in our own backyard.
