Sometimes the little things along the way become as much a part of the memory as the destination.
Wild Flowers was inspired by a hike at Grassi Lakes near Canmore. I was drawn to this quieter view—the trail sign, rocks, grasses and wild growth beside that beautiful mountain water. It felt like one of those ordinary details that tells the story of actually being there.
For me, this piece is about exploring slowly enough to notice what is around you, not just where you are headed.
