Some of my favourite memories are simply about time spent together in beautiful places.
Time with You was inspired by the Plain of Six Glaciers trail in Alberta. I wanted to capture the feeling of walking along the mountain path, surrounded by towering pines, rugged rock, and layers of green stretching into the distance beneath that incredible Alberta sky.
I used vibrant greens, blues, earthy reds and purples to paint the landscape as I remember experiencing it—not just how it looked, but how it felt to be there.
For me, this painting is really about the title. Time with You. The hike matters. The mountains matter. The view matters. But what stays with me most is who I shared it with.
At 36 × 48 inches, this is a large statement piece filled with colour, movement and the feeling of being immersed in the Rockies—a reminder of the places we explore and the people who make those places unforgettable.
